I am Carmelo. I have been building business software since 2009: hospital records, ERPs, legal case management, wine traceability, a national road traffic system. Most of that work is invisible. I move data between systems that were never meant to talk, and what comes out the other end is usually a table on a screen.

Checkup is the first thing I have built that is meant to be looked at. I do not write code in an editor anymore, I direct AI agents, and that is precisely why this tool measures itself: when a model writes your explanations, you stop trusting output and start checking it. Every move Checkup names is verified against the real board before it reaches you, and the engine runs at a fixed depth so the same game gives the same verdict twice.
